Sheffieldfootball.com is committed to the promotion of non-league football throughout Sheffield and South Yorkshire. Sheffield is the birthplace of the most popular sport on the planet and we believe that more people both locally and nationally are yet to discover the Sheffield City Region's excellent non-league scene. Sheffieldfootball.com has been founded as we want to help change that! 

The following three targets encapsulate the purpose of Sheffieldfootball.com :

1) To promote, support and exhibit non-league football across the Sheffield City Region.   

2) To help facilitate the increase of attendances at our local non-league clubs by 10-15%, using the pre-pandemic 2019/19 season as a baseline figure. 

3) Subject to the present COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, to work with local clubs and leagues to form an annual ‘festival of football’ groundhopper weekend event, in which football fans nationwide may be drawn to South Yorkshire at the prospect of attending up to four live football matches in one day across  multiple grounds.

Similar groundhopper events held in the North West of England have seen Football Clubs experience a sharp upturn in revenue during such groundhopper events, with spectator attendances having doubled (or in some cases tripled) from the club's average gate.   

Sheffield and South Yorkshire has a deep-rooted love for football, it is in our DNA. The Laws Of The Game were first written here. We wish to utilise this to further improve our local clubs and communities through the power of the beautiful game.
